Business Partnership with Cambodian Major Microfinance Institutions

MARUHAN Japan Bank is delighted to announce business alliances with a host of microfinance institutions (MFIs) that will benefit not only the companies involved, but the whole of Cambodia.

MARUHAN Japan Bank was formed with the aim of supporting the strong bi-lateral ties between Japan and Cambodia that are encouraging investment and contributing to the continuing growth and development of Cambodia. The MFIs that we partner with are also committed to this development and the alliances that we have formed with them are based on these shared competencies, ideals and operating principles.

By joining forces with leading MFIs, MARUHAN Japan Bank is able to tap into the national networks that the MFIs already have in place in order to get products and services where they can provide most benefit. This nationwide reach will make MARUHAN Japan Bank even more attractive to both domestic and regional partners. In return we are able to provide our MFI partners with fund management experience and the opportunity to diversify their funding sources and acquire funding locally, in line with recommendations from Cambodia's financial regulator the National Bank of Cambodia.
